💻 IRCAI and AWS Compute for Climate Fellowship | IRCAI: Jun 7
This global program selects and fully funds proof of concepts of new ideas leveraging advanced cloud computing and AI to fight the climate change. Founded in 2023, it is a first-of-its-kind program to fund Climate Tech startups’ R&D projects that need a great deal of cloud computing. Startups at any stage and in any country can apply. Startups just need to have completed company formation and have a tech team capable of building with advanced computing services.

Dream Climate Tech Launchpad 2024 is the second iteration of our climate-focused, milestone-based, and investment-readiness program in partnership with Dream.org with the support of Salesforce. This year’s program will support Black and Latinx-led climate tech startups building solutions related to energy, the built environment, and electronic transportation and infrastructure.

DEMO2024 will spotlight innovative projects created by 38 current NEW INC members and additional special guests. In this bilingual session, we will cover why storytelling matters and how to tell stories to achieve the most impact. Our June concert will feature the world premiere of Urgent Earth, a new cantata for treble voices composed by Stefania De Kenessey with libretto by Annie Finch. This six-movement work about the climate crisis offers a powerful and moving statement about the world we live in. This timely offering will be paired with pieces that honor the environment including works by Marie-Claire Saindon, Dede Duson, Lajos Bárdos, David Lang, and Sarah Quartel. The Arts & Climate Incubator is a 5-day intensive for artists, activists, scientists, students, and educators who want to engage or further their engagement with climate change through artistic practices. This year, we are thrilled to offer the program in partnership with the Climate Imaginarium, a consortium of climate arts and storytelling organizations leveraging our collective power to imagine transformative and regenerative futures. All sessions will take place on the Harlem campus of Columbia University in New York City.
