NY Climate Tech: June 10 - June 17
HAHApocalypse, data in power, DERs, "energy week", Tribeca Film Fest, and more upcoming events
Hi friends,
The NYC Mayoral primary is Tuesday, June 24, with early voting starting this Saturday! As a New Yorker, this is the most consequential vote you’ll have, so be sure to take it. Remember, the last mayoral election was decided by just 7,197 votes.
NYC uses to ranked choice voting. But just because you can rank multiple candidates doesn’t mean you should. Leaving a candidate off your ballot can matter just as much as who you vote for. Ranking someone low can still turn into a vote for them in the final stages. Don’t rank anyone you don’t want to see as mayor.
Looking for ways to mobilize? Head to the ⏰ Brooklyn Hour of Action this Wednesday to get out the vote for climate-friendly candidates.
Want to learn more about the candidates? The City x Gothamist have a great “Meet Your Mayor” quiz.
