🗽 NYCEDC Founder Fellowship: Due 12/31
Each year, the Founder Fellowship program supports a diverse community of New York City-based tech startup founders with access to industry networks, fundraising, mentorship, business development, and other opportunities necessary to build and scale their enterprises. The program aims to eliminate barriers to entry into the venture-backed startup community and build a tech economy that reflects and leverages New York City’s unique ecosystem.
🔮 Climate Storytelling 2075: Due 1/4
Climate futures thrive on our imagination to shape them. Too often, the future is decided for us by a small group of people rooted in western, settler-colonial worldviews. Your visionary work is urgently need to reimagine our relationship with the Earth and each other, fostering a collective hope and actionable pathways for a better world in 2075 and beyond. Climate Storytelling 2075 gives young people from frontline communities a platform for world-building that leverages the arts and storytelling to explore solutions for adaptation, mitigation, and sustainability at local, regional, and global scales.
🍃 Sage Impact Entrepreneurship 2026: Due 1/5
Village Capital, in partnership with Sage Foundation, is now accepting applications for Sage Impact Entrepreneurship 2026. This equity-free investment-readiness program will support early-stage climate tech startups based in the US that are driving environmental, social, and economic impact in their communities. Selected ventures will receive expert mentorship, tailored business support, and grant funding between $10K - $50K.
⛴️ Governors Island Climate Solutions Challenge: Due 1/21
The Trust for Governors Island seeks companies, entrepreneurs, and nonprofit organizations offering innovative urban adaptation solutions that will help communities adapt to challenges facing New York City and other dense urban areas, such as chronic flooding, extreme heat, and water shortages. This initiative, presented through the #GovIslandClimate Piloting Program, offers innovators the opportunity to test and scale climate products and services in a real-world environment.
