NY Climate Tech: Dec 4 - Dec 11
Climate tech demo night, holiday parties, carbon removal, climate futurism, our annual survey, and more events this month
Hi friends,
December is here, and that means it’s time for our annual community Survey! If you could spend a few minutes this week to fill this out (maybe over your next tea, coffee, or hot chocolate), it would be a huge help to us! This survey helps us shape our 2024 programming, and we’ll share the results next year. Why wait? Fill it out here.
Our next event is a NY Climate Tech x Streetlife Ventures🗽Climate Tech Demo Night next Monday, December 11th. Swing by to hear from five incredible startups, and a huge thanks to our sponsors AWS, NYU Tandon, and SOSV for hosting.
Here are our picks for the week (somehow everyone landed on Tuesday)
Join Women and Climate for their 🎉 Holiday Party at Lighthouse in Williamsburg
Out in Climate is hosting a 🏳️🌈 Carbon Removal Panel at Columbia’s Center on Global Energy Policy
Pioneer Works has a panel on 🎨 Climate Futurism with artist Olalekan Jeyifous, MoMA curator Paola Antonelli, and Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson (and read Alec’s review of the show in the Brooklyn Rail)
And finally, don’t for get to fill out our annual survey! It really does help a ton.
As always, scroll down for the full list of upcoming events.
Cheers,
Alec, Sonam, and The Climate Tech Cities Team
