NY Climate Tech: April 4 - April 11
And we're back! Web3 x Climate, Sustainable Fashion, and April Events
Hi all,
After a two-week hiatus, we’re back! We have two in-person events this week, both on Wednesday. The first is an intro to Climate and Crypto in Williamsburg hosted by Boys club, which, despite the name, is meant to be a “no bro zone for the crypto curious” and to welcome women into web3. If that’s not your thing, Zero Waste NYC and the Sanitation foundation are hosting an event on trends in Sustainable Fashion at the Arc’teryx repair store in SoHo.
Online events are clustered this week, too, with three events on Tuesday (tomorrow!). The first is the OnDeck Build for Climate Showcase, a mini demo-day for their latest program. An hour later, This Is CDR has a seminar on carbon removal through mineralization with Dr. Peter Kelemen from Columbia’s Climate School. In the evening, you can call into Climate Tech 101, a networking and info session for those transitioning into climate.
Last but not least, our next meetup will be Tuesday, April 26th. Location to come, but you can RSVP here!
(Jobs section returns next week. In the meantime, if you have any events or jobs you’d like to advertise, just reply to this email and I’ll add them in.)
